LIFESTYLE: Jodhpur, the city of Mehrangarh

Jodhpur, also known as the blue city _although it’s not really as blue as might have been expect_ it is a very touristy little town because preserve one of the jewels of Rajasthan and from all over India, the castle and fort of Meharangarh which continues looking the city boldly and proudly from the hill visible from the old town. Less noisy than other cities of India, it is well worth getting lost through its alleys and to get off the beaten track around of clock tower to see the city in its day to day and see the people working  their local crafts . 

Jodhpur, también conocida como la ciudad azul _aunque realmente no es tan azul como cabría esperar_ es una pequeña ciudad muy turística porque custodia una de las joyas del Rajastán y de toda la India, el castillo y fuerte de Meharangarh que aún sigue mirando la ciudad con osadía y orgullo desde la colina que se divisa desde el casco antiguo. Menos bulliciosa que otras ciudades de la India, merece la pena dejarse perder por sus callejuelas y salirse de la ruta propiamente turística que se dibuja alrededor de la torre del reloj para contemplar la ciudad en su día a día y ver a sus gentes trabajar las artesanías autóctonas.
